At DiabeVita, we believe in treating the whole person. That includes education as well as medical treatment. Take advantage of the free information provided on our site, and participate in our various group classes in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley to learn more about optimum health.

On the Diabetes Information page, you’ll find more detailed information about the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes, including advice on diet, nutrition, exercise and medication.

Our Group Classes page provides a schedule of educational seminars available to anyone, patient or non-patient of DiabeVita. Classes and seminars are usually at our offices in Scottsdale, but on occasion we present programs at health fairs and various neighborhood locations.

We’ve also provided a list of Suggested Reading materials that we believe will be both educational and enlightening regarding various health subjects, including an extensive reading list on the best practices for the care & treatment of diabetes.

Our Links page provides an extensive list of links to other medical sites & directories we believe will be both helpful and practical.

Dr. Hilts is very happy to give short seminars or talks about diabetes and diabetes prevention at health fairs, meetings, churches, schools and offices in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Phoenix. She is fluent in Spanish as well. Blood sugar screening can be included in these programs.
