The owners of DiabeVita Medical Center, Inc decided some time ago we could just not wait for the government to reform health care. We have taken our own steps toward true reform – back to the day patients and their doctor work together for optimum health – not insurance bureaucrats and accountants. Sure we’ll still work with your insurance company, but we won’t stop with the 10 minutes they allow us. Using a blend of old fashioned personal service, education and the latest medical technology, we become your health advisor and coach to achieve your health goals. It’s not that hard to have excellent health and to feel good. You’ll have to cooperate as well; good health requires lifestyle changes and some discipline, not just a prescription. We’re here to treat your medical problems, treat your whole person, and help you to improve your own health.

DiabeVita is a full service Family Medicine Practice serving Scottsdale and Paradise Valley. We provide a comprehensive range of professional medical services for the entire family–from pediatrics to geriatrics. We have same-day appointments available every day. As your trusted family care physician, we treat most acute and chronic health problems, from colds to congestive heart failure, referring to the appropriate specialist when necessary. We perform many minor procedures like stitches and mole removal. We provide preventative care to help all ages stay healthy, including paps and immunizations. Our Staff

The Medical Director and lead practicing physician for Diabevita is Helen Hilts, MD, a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician in Scottsdale with more than 20 years of experience as a doctor in Arizona. Self-diagnosed with diabetes more than 5 years ago, she empathizes with her patients’ difficulties with the disease, but also knows it can be managed to the point of normal blood sugars with proper care and treatment. Some complications can even be reversed over time. As any diabetic reading this will recognize, her personal A1C of less than 5.0, without medication, attests to the value of her approach and treatment protocol.
